Was diving last week in water under 40deg and outside temp 38 with 40 mph wind gust, the dive suit with hood did it job . Great value as wellVery good wet suit and comes with a hood. You have to buy that separate with other suits and this suit cost less than the competetor. The material is very sturdyAfter receiving product I tried it on. Not an expert in wetsuits, but from what I could tell from internet posts, this XXL was a bit too large for me. Upon taking it off, the bottom zippers broke off. They are plastic, and fairly cheap feeling. I was able to re-thread the zipper and zip up (this would have to be done every time, but for $90, i figured I could do this.) I went to put it on today so I could clean the bottom of my sailboat, and after zipping it all the way up, the teeth started coming undone from the bottom before I could even get into the water. I tried unzipping, and more teeth came off about mid-ways trying to fix the problem. The suit now is pretty much useless. I am going to take and see if I can get a new zipper (definitely more durable) sewed on. If not, then a complete waste of money.I give two stars because the rest of the wetsuit seems to be made of decent material, as I said before, never owned one so I am not sure, but it seems like good material.Good quality, xxl for me at 6'3" 180 fit well, a little loose in upper legs. Diving Puget Sound and stayed warm!Perfect for what I use it for (lobster diving). I don’t use this one for winter surfing. The attached hood is great for diving. Keeps ears and neck warm and body temp consistent. 4-5 ml thickness is not suited for quick side to side head turns needed for surfing. Very pleased with quality and durability. The good: It's well made. The bad: Even though the zipper is on the front, it's imposible to take off without assistance. Simply impossible.Poorly made. The first time I wore the wet suit one of the leg zippers broke.
