This shoe is now being outsourced to India. While it's aesthetically pleasing to look at, the very reason my group wanted to order this shoe was because the original military shoe had a hard leather sewn-on sole. This shoe has a glued-on synthetic sole. Not only does it not fit our needs, because it's glued on we cannot replace/resole it. Finally, the synthetic sole leaves black marks on everything.
