I liked these shoes, and wanted to like them, but after a few hundred miles they were still causing pain on one foot. I have a medium wide foot, and the boa on one side smashed into my pinkie-toe knuckle. I thought it would "break in", but it seems like it was just breaking me. It seems like if Giro had placed the boa 1cm up it wouldn't have been an issue. These are fantastic clip in cycling shoes. I started with SPD cleats, so stick with it even though I ride a road bike. I find the power transfer much easier in these shoes than my previous shoes. On top of that, they are easy to walk around in when off the bike. The lacing system is great and provides a better tight fit while riding.Nice shoes, well built, look really nice—but they are super narrow. My feet are pretty average in width, have always worn standard width shoes with no problem. These were so narrow that even with the laces loosened up so that I could fit in them, the uppers pulled in a way that created a painful hotspot on my left foot within 1 minute (felt like a burning hot needle being shoved into my foot) while casually standing around. Unless your feet are clearly on the skinny side, I wouldn’t recommend these.Great fit, comfortable and stiff pedaling.I went up a half size 11.5 to 12.As a sneaker head, cycling shoes have seemed like a missed opportunity to incorporate all of the comfort-tech that is being widely used by all the major brands. These shoes seem to have bucked that trend. They’re very very comfortable in all the right spots. The BoA system ensures this. Easy to clean, allow feet to breathe and the performance can be felt with each stroke. They are stiff and supple. I’d buy these again and look forward to Giro’s future offerings.A very well designed shoe that provides great function and fit. This version of the BOA closure on the upper and lower portion of the shoe make for a very secure and custom fit. Would definitely buy again.Tras más de un año de uso, no los recomiendo mucho. Son ligeros, frescos, pero muy estrechos para pies gruesos.Ya sufrí un par de caidas o golpes con piedras y se agrietan fácilmente, poco resistentes.Quizá son más recomendables para gravel que para MTB.I wanted these in a different color, but they were not available in my size. That being said, they arrived on time, and I wore them for a short ride that day. IMMEDAITLY comfortable. Usually my bike shoes require a break in period, these were perfect from hour one. I have a medium width foot and fit is spot on. Toe box is roomy but not loose. I have ridden them in the rain and in the heat, they don't sop up water and they breath well. BOA system is the same as on my Giro road shoes and I like the way it works. Very happy with the product for the price.
