I've only had these for a week and used them on just a couple rides (approx. 80 mi). So, consider this review with that in mind. But so far, I'm pleased. The carbon soles are completely stiff, as expected. The Boa retention system couldn't be easier to operate. It tightens evenly from toe to top of foot with just a couple twists on the knob. Even when riding, a quick reach down to give another click or two to tighten, or just a quick pull up on the knob releases tension. The ventilation seems good, but we'll see about that when the weather warms up. The expansion area just behind the small toe consists of reliefs that allow the underlying mesh material to give a little providing comfort for those of us with slightly wider feet. (My feet are just a shade wider than average, and these feel great.) The external heel pad(s) are thick and make the shoe more of a zero-drop than a negative-drop like most bike shoes I've had. (I.e., Sidi & Specialized.) I purchased the black and like the overall quality look of the finish. Cost of $172.49 US seems like a good value. Will likely recommend once I've had them longer and see how they hold up. But for now, two thumbs up.
