Love these shoe! Bought my 1st pair of Giro mtb cycling shoes back in 2012. I used mrb shoes for road cycling because they are not as stiff as a road shoes. I'm suprised my Giro Reva's held up for 7 years. But it was time to upgrade, as the sole started talking to the heel last week. I ride at least 1500 miles a season. June to Oct.Before I bought the privateer model, I decided to try another reputable brand; But I came running back to Giro as the Pearl Izumi's version were flat and clunky and not as appealing as the electric blue color.Fit wise, I had to go up a size from previous, Giro Reva [from 42 to 43]. The insole that came with it is perfect. The color is perfect to make all the other cyclist on the road jealous. And to make me a little bit more visible to cars.Still need to break them in, feet hurt a bit.Ordered a 43.5 per Giro's size guide. Shoes were small for a 43.5, and my toes felt crammed in the toe box. Definitely order these a half size larger than your recommended size, as these shoes run very narrow. Re-ordered in a 44 and the fit is perfect. Half size may not seem like much but it makes a difference. Knocking off one star due to the wonky sizing.Overall build quality of the shoes seems great, I expect these to last for a while. The ratcheting and velcro securing system works fantastic and makes it easy to dial in a comfortable fit.I am newer to cycling. My first cycling shoe was a venzo cycling shoe from amazon that came bundled with pedals it was okay. This shoe is so much better in everyway, it made me wonder why I took so long to upgrade. Very comfortable, noticably improved power transfer.Sizing: I have a wide foot and in non wide shoes typically run a larger size. So, I typically buy 10.5 or size 11 shoes in narrower brands like Nike. The 45 fit my foot fairly well. slightly snug after my ride but will break in well I believe. They are nice shoes. I like the click tightening, but it l they are tight. I have size 44 in all my shoes, but these need to be a 45 I feel.Muy buena zapatilla, lo unico que el size corre pequeño, hay que comprarla preferiblemente un número a mas, para que no les quede pequeña y se ajuste a sus piesThese are great shoes, beware of the sizing. My normal shoe size is 9.5 or 10 depending on shoe. My first order was a 43.5 and I could not get my foot in the shoe, I returned and went with size 45. Perfect fit.Muy buen productoThese Giro Terraduros were comfortable, transferred power well, and hiked like an enduro cleat should. Then the surrounding rubber bottom tore away from the plate...on both shoes. They couldn't handle the off-camber hike-a-bike in our area and quickly succumbed to the punishment. I loved these shoes and seriously considered replacing my tough, yet-minimalist Pearl Izumis with them. I can get about two seasons on the Pearls, but the Giros barely lasted two months of riding.
